The Bellevile Senators were looking to keep their 7 game winning streak alive and move it up to an 8 game winning streak. The Marlies, who were coming off a win against Laval were ready to end the Sens winning streak. 8:46 into the 3rd period, Matt Read scored his 8th goal of the season to give the Marlies a 2 goal lead. The Marlies took the game from the Sens as they beat them 4-2.
